True Fear

"There are three things that all wise men fear: the sea in a storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man." -Patrick Rothfuss, A Wise Mans Fear

I sit and i picture each of those as a painting in my mind.

A sea in a storm, why is that a wise mans fear? It means we all fear to be lost in a world full of meaningless words and wasted paper, and then to be torn by the shallowest depths of the mind.

A night with no moon? Loneliness of the blackest kind, sitting on a lifeless hilltop staring at undeveloped canvas with no way to light it up. No way to reveal its dimensionless beauty.

Why the anger of a gentle man? It speaks of disappointment and failure, why would you push his patience? The wrath of one trying to teach to a drunken society, trying to teach the diamond wall of humanity.

When you fight progress and knowledge always remember to fear the wrath of a gentle man.

For diamond doesn't just break, it shatters, and the shards can pierce your soul.

Me

My favorite color is Blue on Mondays and Red on a full moon.

I like to Wonder at the World and Yell on top of the Mountain Peaks.

I like the Seas in the Forests and the Murals on the Building Sides.

The Dugong is my favorite animal but i like Glow Worms.

Sometimes you Make me Angry but i will Always Grow beyond those times.

This is me trying to be Creative but i don't know if it Works.

I am part Red and Part Blue, I want Control and i want Knowledge too.

Rants by Thraavup

Today i ranted about society and its lunatic and unproductive obsessions.

On the car ride home from school i wondered about the enigma which is sports... When i think of sports i think of a fun past time in which those who enjoy it can spend quality time with one another enjoying something they love. But then i see this...

and this...

Oh and don't forget this lovely clip!

10 people injured and 50 arrested.... really people? Since when did sports become as violent as social movements! I just don't get the fanaticism, i mean i enjoy playing sports (some at least) but i get bored watching them, and  i will by no means go out and light a fire downtown because my favorite basketball team won the NBA championship.

Anyway society's first problem is that they are too obsessed with sports. My second problem with society  is its focus on trivial and unproductive things. I looked up google's top searched topics... it started with a wonderful #1 Whitney Houston!

Don't get me wrong, i respect Whitney for her talent and abilities (though i don't love her music) and i would encourage her death to be known, but really #1 most researched topic on google! Not that big of a deal Whitney, sorry...

Now number 2 really got my respect for society going! Gangnam style! Which i had to look up how to spell... really, that is such a terrible song, its excitement lasted a whole of 4 minutes (the length of the song). After which i never cared to hear it again.

Finally at 3rd we have Hurricane Sandy (beaten by a Pervy Korean), so it takes about 110 deaths and more then $50 billion dollars in damage for us to look up something relating to current events and our world.

Next we got the Ipad 3 and Diable 3, Gotta love our electrons for which we can spend hours gaming and listening to Gangnam style!

Down from that we get Kate Middleton (i guess that related to world topics(rolls eyes)), The olympics (we must prove our omnipotence over other countries by playing sports), and then Amanda todd... which i will say is something good to be aware off... at least we can realize people do need help.

Finally we have Michael Clarke Duncan (some actor) and BBB12... Which wikipedia tells me is some Brazilian television show... oh yes so important to know world, so very important.

Now i know in the end these things aren't solid proof, people can get information from places other than Google and sports riots have never hurt as many people as Social Movements (as a whole), but it is true that these things fill the lives of many people, the fill places where greatness could shine through if they weren't so ignorant. Now how about we spend five minutes every day not thinking about trivial things? How about we spend five minutes doing something to further our knowledge and talents, and if those five minutes start to seem like not enough time to improve yourself. Then by all means take more time! Only you can hold back yourself, because only you can control yourself. A quote well worn but true all the same.

The "slow down" moments

Those moments in life when you look around and the world slows down.

Those moments are real perfection...

Go on a drive to somewhere breath taking, travel across the world in search of only the most beautiful. In those places you can find that moment.

The world was meant to be explored not squandered with human problems, we are living on the only planet able to have this level of beauty in our solar system so why not see everything you can?

Bing knows what they are doing eveyday they show you a picture of somwere amazing and breathtaking, but if pictures were all we could get of these places life would be dull indeed.

My background is an example of these places... look and it and imagine being there... and now come back to your dull, mundane life.

Get out and explore, these places may be right outside your door.

The Tired, Overasked Question... What Is Love?

Really? Were going to ask this again?
How many times does this need to be asked before the answer is satisfyed?
What is love? Its what you develop...
Its what you nurture...
Its the dang reason your still alive!
Desocialization... the process of being removed from society and not receiving any type of human or animal contact.
All victims of this "disorder" have died at an early age. Nothing can stop that.
You want to know what love is? Love is what keeps you alive through you childhood and early adulthood, love is the how much you enjoy the people you spend time with.
Love isnt a need to always be with them and a despairing lose when they are not near you.
Love isnt the need to end your own life because you cannot be with them.
Love isnt that your life is incomplete when they are gone and you are "alone".
Love is to be able to look at them and care for them, but know that they have their life and you have yours. All you can hope for is that their life is full of learning and growth just as you wish your life is.

Who cares about robots anyway?

Robots vs. Humans:
definiton of Robot: A machine that looks like a human and does mechanical, routine jobs.
A robot is a machine.. which does mechanical, routine jobs...

definiton of Machine: An apparatus consisting of interrelated parts with seperate functions, used in the preformance of some kind of work.
A robot is a machine... A machine is an apparatus...

definition of Apparatus: Any system or systematic organization activities, functions, processess, etc., directed toward a specific goal.
An apparatus is a system of funtions directed towards a specific goal... our bodies must then be an apparatus...

Worked backward: Our bodies are an apparatus... A machine is an apparatus... A robot is a machine...

Now you decide what keeps you from being a robot.

Introduction to Muchness

Welcome to the beginning of Muchness.
In this blog i will post Much and from the Much i post, i hope will come some fashion of inspiration. I like to fancy myself a intellectual thinker, though there are those who will visit my blog and know who i am and then disagree, and i hope that those who visit my blog, and don't know who I am, will be able to find their own sort of intellectual thought. Much is to come, and Much will be said, Much will be thought, and Much will be found. Now Much luck to those who think about Much.
